Thanks to Governor Patrick, Boston has had a recent influx of films, and I've been lucky enough to work on several of them in the past year. I've worked in wardrobe, art, locations, and (my personal favorite) the office, where I have developed an ability to multi-task beyond the comprehension of mere mortals.
As much as the fast-paced, all intensive and ever-changing schedule of film and commercials appeals to me, my true love is children's media. I look forward to one day (in the not-so-distant future!) transferring the skills I've crafted to benefit the next generation. To this end, I am currently taking two classes at Emerson College in media arts, honing my skills as I write, produce, direct, film, and edit my projects throughout the semester. Come back toward the end of the semester to see my final projects posted!Boston is filled with creative, innovative educational software, film, and television companies. I've had the good fortune to work with FableVision in the past as a production assistant, and I am always available for more work, freelance or otherwise, for any children's media company in the area.
