But maddest of all is to see life as it really is, and not as it should be. -Man of La Mancha Home • Theater • Film, Television, and New Media • Education • Contact • Affiliations |

I graduated from Brandeis in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts, with a concentration in Acting. Although I began as an actor and classically-trained singer, I began stage managing in college and quickly became addicted to the backstage world. Brandeis' theater and graduate acting program allowed me consistent opportunities to train, learn, and stage manage for professionals in an equity setting. In the past year I have given up singing anywhere but the shower, but stage management keeps pulling me back into the booth! Most recently, I stage managed Essential Self-Defense for the Gurnet Theater Project at the Boston Center For The Arts. This winter I'll be working with the New Repertory Theatre, as the Assistant Stage Manager for their production of The Santaland Diaries, by David Sedaris. My senior Thesis project at Brandeis was a year-long research paper on the theories and acting techniques created by Michael Chekhov. The project allowed me to combine research and performance, theory and practice. I plan to post the final draft of this paper here in the near future. |
